Games
A wide variety of games are played by members. DBR and DBM are always
popular, and there is usually a campaign for one or the other going on. Flames
of War is a system that has recently gained increasing popularity from members,
with many games being played every meeting. Other systems are played with varying
levels of frequency, and gamers are likely to find an opponent for most
games out there. The club supplies tables and terrain for games, and there are
many members who are also quite willing to loan out their armies for beginners
to try out somethng new.
Our monthly
meetings get an average turnout of around 30 or so members, so there is
always someone available for a game. For those who like to organise a game beforehand, our Forums are a
great place to set one up.
Events
Every year the League runs tournaments for DBM and DBR, and starting 2004
the Annual Flames of War Championships have also kicked off. These tournaments are
open to members and non-members, and are a fantastic way to meet and play new
